Description:

Ever since the luxurious Old England stores opened at the end of the 19th century, they gained a strong reputation thanks to the building they where housed in. While the entrance clearly shows an Art Nouveau influence, the rest of the building perfectly fits the neoclassical style of the Place Royal.

The MIM has been housed in this building since June 2000.

The museum boast an extraordinary collection of musical instruments: From the moment you enter the museum you'll be taken through a geographical and historical musical journey with more than a thousand instruments on display.

The MIM is the perfect place to experience music. Thanks to the headphones available you can listen to the melodies of the instruments on display.
