Winter Wonders is a 2-km long series of fun moments that make the hearts of 2.5 million visitors beat faster every year. In short, a breath of fresh air on Brussels! From 30 November to 6 January 2013

From the Grand Place to the Marché aux Poissons, this new edition proposes 240 various chalets, a sleighing run, the ice rink, the big wheel, and an unforgettable spectacle of lights.

The guest of honour this year will be Greece, with cultural and gastronomical promotional events. There are also talks of a magical chorus on Xmas eve!

Brussels goes green: even our Christmas tree is greener than green: it's PEFC (Programme for the Endorsement of Forest Certification Schemes): as eco-friendly as can be!

You'll be surrounded by thousands of little twinkly lights that can be seen by night and by day: it's the Electrabel magic (the local energy provider)!

Extra information

Every Saturday Electrabel organises a spectacular show at 8, 9 and 10pm, where artists and light technicians have joined efforts to create animated light effects that are projected onto the City Hall's facade.

It's an incredible feat of technical knowhow and imagination.

And many more surprises!

If 2.5 million visitors come every year, there has to be a very good reason!
